I have had a keen interest in photography both looking at and taking photographs for my enjoyment since I first picked up a 35mm camera in 1977 at college. My first camera an Olympus Trip 35 it went with me everywhere and was only replaced when it fell apart.
i spent lots of time in the college library looking at books of photos and wondered how the artists got such great shots. Mine were just box standard snaps. Truprint never got the best from them either.
In 1996 I bought a Kodak digital camera it cost over £500 and produced photos that were no bigger than a matchbox cover. But I was hooked. I loved how you could take photos see them on location check them and then take the shot again before the scene changed.
I and cameras have developed over the following years.
I have got to a point where I want to go to the next level by learning about photographers, using their techniques but develop my own style.
I have done the first few modules and already I feel I am seeing in a different way.
Now I must practise what I am learning and would be interested in what you think of my efforts.
